This is one of the most amazing NDE's I've ever read. On his way to the 3rd heaven to plead for his life, God allowed him to go through the second heaven and witness the various types of demons there. Some looked half human and half animal, like in Greek Mythology. Others looked like giant angels, humans, and animals, and other strange looking creatures. God also was angry with this guy, who thought he was a great Christian, and said his life and works were worth nothing, and that he wasted his life. I've heard someones testimony of their conversation with this Howard guy about something the angels showed him that's mentioned in his book. He was told more details than the book. Howard was shown by the angels just how demons enter people, and the example the angles showed him was a man and woman at work, chatting in the break room. A frog came up through the floor and was between the two of them. It tempted the man with lust for the woman, and the longer the guy contemplated it, the bigger the frog grew. It grew larger three times, and then finally went into the guys head, and the angel told Howard that this guy was going to have problems with lust for the rest of his life now. It shows how hard it would be to meet someone, and date them, and consider marriage, and not have this happen to you. It would be better to have an arranged marriage by God, and skip most of the dating. But you have to know for sure you are hearing from God. | ||

Blake, I listened to the complete tapes of his stuff quite a while ago, and it is impressive with information about the other side. NDE's are strong evidence for non-believers about a spiritual life, and for those Christians who've been taught that there is a non-conscious sleep state after death until the resurrection. There is consistency in information that people who've died are in heaven right now. | ||

This is the first time I've ever heard someone say that they saw demons as half man and half beast. So it doesn't surprise me that people from ancient times really saw them, revealing themselves as gods, and therefore worshiped them. | ||

I had an NDE some years back. The other side is Amazing to say the least. There are no words to describe the Colors, the Land, the Water, the Feelings, the Feel, the Smells or the total Peace that is there. The Family that was there to meet me, the older generation and the younger ones. Were, how to describe it, lets just say, the older ones are younger, the younger ones are older. Some have said I just dreamed it. Yet, dreams don't have colors, as these colors were. Dreams don't have smells, like the smells there. Dreams don't have feeling, like what was felt there, both physically from the grass and hills I walked, or from the spirit that was everywhere. And when I was told that I had to go back, that it wasn't my time, it hurt. Coming back here is the mixed up dream / nightmare. This relm we live in daily is where we don't see correctly, Where we don't smell correctly, Where we don't feel correctly, and Where the Spirit is not the same. I didn't see demons or strange creatures. Only beauty beyond belief, and Yeshua. Can't wait to go back. After all, It's only a breath away. | ||

Rick, thanks much for sharing your NDE. It adds to the cumulative knowledge we have concerning the unseen dimensions inhabited by non-corporeal beings. Like almost all NDE experiencers, you went straight to Heaven where God dwells, and didn't pass through the lower dimensions. Perhaps that "tunnel experience" is a sort of spirit elevator or escalator metaphor, bypassing those lower floors which are not the Heaven where God dwells. What I mean is that others have stated the half man-half beast creatures inhabit a spirit dimension just above our own level for humans on earth, which would be the lower level floors in the metaphor. Others have seen the "alien grays" too in this level just above our own. Perhaps that's how UFO researchers like Ed Grimsley have consistently witnessed non-visual UFOs using night vision equipment. This closest unseen dimension is just outside our visual range. Here is his website with photos and videos. Rick, are their colors there that aren't on the earth? Roy, I watched the videos on Grimsley's website, and it looks there are tons of things flying around up there. I don't understand why they need these ships, since they can move freely without them. | ||

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld used to talk about "known unknowns" and "unknown unknowns" concerning what we may or may not know. Given the dearth of real knowledge of the unseen realms, could this be one of those "unknown unknowns"? :-) Consider the following clue: Ephesians 2:1-2 (NASB) And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Could it be that Satan and the fallen Angels are confined to the vicinity of the earth now? Why is he called the prince of the power of the air? Is there a connection with these flying craft in the dimension just above our own, where the prince of the power of the air operates? Could their power be limited by God, and they with greater knowledge are using advanced technologies now that we have no clue about? Maybe. | ||

Except that there is no air up there :-) Yeah, he made a point to say the power of the air, instead of the prince over regions of the earth. I've been convinced for years that they are fallen angels, in one form or another, except the grays. It seems like a lot of people with experience with grays say that their bodies are robots, being controlled by someone somewhere else, maybe in those ships. In one of those books you let me borrow, it said that someone pulled off it's eye, which was like a cap, and there was nothing behind it. And I recently heard of others say they are not real bodies, just robots. | ||

Blake The colors are along the same lines, in a way, but kicked up so many notches above our colors, like the green of the grasses and tree, but much richer, like nothing we have here. The river / body of water was a blue beyond anything we have, yet you could see into it for what seemed like forever. never murky, and when the bottom was walked on, it never kicked up dirt, like one would here while wading a stream when fishing. I can't even describe the colors or what I smelled and felt physically and Spiritually. I just know, that it is more real than this place is, it is really there, and My Daughter is there, Grandma is there, and Aunt Jody is there too. and it is just a breath away. | ||

I want to mention a pastor I was told about, because it lines up with what Howard Pittman has seen in the 2nd heaven. He has had the most amazing miracles and healings happen consistently in his ministry. His name is Thurman Scrivner, previously an engineer, fired for talking about Jesus. He devoted hours a day for years, to studying the word and seeking God. God had spoken to him audibly over 30 times. One thing he was trying to understand was if Christians can have a demon in them or not. Most Christians say they cannot. After seeking an answer to this for over 2 years, he was reading about the woman with the spirit of infirmity, and God spoke audibly to him and told him that he had a spirit of infirmity in him. He was shocked to hear that, and asked how it could be, since he was a Christian and felt fine. God told him that it manifested in him as athletes food, which he had for about 30 years. Anyway, since then, God has shown him that there are demons like little creatures, like crabs or an octopus type creature that go into people can cause problems. He was shown that without a doubt, a Christian can get a demon in them and that they are quite common these days. He was shown that every time a person sins, that opens the door to a demon to come in and mess with them. This includes Christians. When that person confesses his sin, and repents, he can then drive that devil out, pray for healing and be healed. Sometimes, just driving out the devil will cause that person to be well without even having to pray for healing. I was shocked by this, because I was never taught that every time you sin it opens the door to a demon to cause problems. All over the bible, it says to be perfect and not sin. It should be a rare thing that we sin. Scrivner says it's very easy to get a demon. If you break any of Gods commandments or any of the things the bible says we should do, that opens us up to the enemy. He says that if you have sex outside of marriage, you automatically get a demon. Sometimes these demons will go in and not manifest for months or years. This makes sense to me when I read that Jesus would heal people by saying that their sins are forgiven, and to sin no more. That legal right for the demon to be there was removed, so it left. But sometimes it won't go so easily and has to be driven out. Another thing.... Scrivner studied extensivley Free Masonry, and so he knows that their god is Lucifer. There was one Christian woman that had a demon in her, and she repented of every sin she knew of, yet it would not leave, so Scrivner asked the demon how it had the right to be there, and it said that she joined the Rainbow Girls decades ago, and so it came into her. The Rainbow Girls is a branch of Free Masonry for youth. The demon has so much control over her, that it said it would never allow her to be conscious long enough to repent of that sin, so Scrivner said "that's ok", and then he quoted the scripture that says "whatever sins you remit, they will be remitted. Whatever sins you retain, they will be retained". That made the demon mad and it said "almost nobody knows that scripture!!!", so Scrivner then remitted her sin of that and was able to kick it out. | ||

I should clarify one thing. This guy claims, based on scripture, that nearly all sickness and disease, accidents, trouble, comes because of sin, which is why the bible keeps on telling us to stop sinning, even though we have forgiveness and assurance of salvation. |
